How to Practice Anulom Vilom

  1. Find a Comfortable Position: Sit in a comfortable meditative pose, such as Sukhasana (easy pose) or Padmasana (lotus pose). Keep your spine straight and your shoulders relaxed.
  2. Form the Nasika Mudra: Use your right hand. Gently close your right nostril with your thumb and your left nostril with your ring finger.
  3. Begin the Practice:
    • Close your right nostril with your thumb and inhale slowly and deeply through your left nostril.
    • Close both nostrils and hold your breath for a few seconds (optional).
    • Release your thumb from your right nostril and exhale slowly through the right nostril.
    • Inhale deeply through your right nostril.
    • Close both nostrils and hold your breath for a few seconds (optional).
    • Release your ring finger from your left nostril and exhale slowly through the left nostril.
